Gentle Landing & Acclimatization
Arrive in Leh (11,500 ft). Strict mandatory rest, hydration and medical vitals check. Evening gentle sunset walk to Shanti Stupa.
Old Town Heritage & Shey Palace
Walk the historic mud-brick alleys of Leh Old Town. Visit Shey Palace and enjoy lunch at an apricot orchard cafe.
Thiksey Monastery Sunrise Chants
Witness the monk brass horns calling the dawn. Experience private chanting inside the main temple hall followed by breakfast with monastery scholars.
Crossing Khardung La to Nubra Valley
Drive across snow-clad Khardung La (17,582 ft) into the green oasis of Nubra Valley. Ride double-humped camels across the Hunder sand dunes at sunset.
Turtuk: The Border Village of Apricots
Drive along the Shyok River to Turtuk, India's northernmost village. Learn about Balti culture and share tea with village patriarchs.
The Wonder of Pangong Tso
Off-road journey along the Shyok River to Pangong Lake (14,270 ft). Watch the lake shift from turquoise to cobalt blue. Camp under millions of stars.
Chang La Pass & Celebration Feast
Sunrise over Pangong. Drive back to Leh over Chang La pass. Final group celebration dinner with live Ladakhi folk acoustic music.
